Books and a Story

Michael Bishop has a new story co-authored with Steven Utley entitled "The City Quiet as Death". It's available at www.Tor.com, just click on the link. It's another memorable story that reminds me of "Apartheid, Superstrings and Mordecai Thubana" that was written in 1989. It's really great to see something new from Mike. He is a terrific writer and deserves a lot more attention than he receives.

Cemetery Dance has released three new titles that may be of interest. HALLOWEENLAND by Al Sarrantonio is limited to 1250 autographed copies and retails at $40. MOONBANE, the long out of print werewolf novel by Al Sarrantonio is available in its first hardcover edition. It's limited to 1500 autographed copies at $40. The other is a strictly limited edition of 652 copies based on the number of preorders; NIGHT CAGE by Andrew Harper, which is a pen name for Douglass Clegg. This one will be hard to find unless someone puts it up on ebay for an outrageous price. Check the website at www.cemeterydance.com for more details on these and other offerings.
