For all you Trekkers, Trekkies, and science fiction fans, here’s the first book to put on your Christmas wish list. This volume is a look (inside and out) at the various incarnations of the starship that has carried the Enterprise name.
This volume is profusely illustrated with photos from the various series the ships appeared in and cutaway diagrams of the ships and operational history. Also included are systems overviews and some of the theory behind the operations of the various drives and how time travel was achieved in certain adventures.
Haynes is well known for their workshop manuals and this volume is no exception to their previous works. The book is filled with new artwork and cutaways and Michael Okuda has worked for over twenty years on the series and movies, this makes this as factual as you can get.
Don’t pass this one up. It will be a perfect stocking stuffer.
